Any thoughts on this saddle?
Equinelibruim Dressage Supreme (http://www.equinewhispers.co.uk/dressagesupreme.html)
It looks like a proper saddle and is much cheaper than most. Not too sure about it though - not very much padding to distribute the riders weight and the gullet is very narrow. And the fact it says it basically cheap and nasty.

to me it looks very narrow in the gullet and you would need a very good pad with it as the padding looks quite hard.

I looked at them but TBH I don't think I would want to buy a saddle from anyone who advertises it as the budget/cheap/economy saddle where quality is clearly not a priority and perhaps the design may not have been as thoroughly reasearched/tested as others, esp being treeless.
I like the look of it, and had they of gone very cheap on Ebay I would have brought on so I could make a decision once I could see it close up but the price kept going up and I decided it was too much to run the risk of buying blind.

Yep, that's what I thought. I had it watched on ebay and if it'd gone cheaply, I have have gone for it, but went up to £150 or so. It'd have been interesting to have a look.
They say 'cheap' but they're selling them new at £400+ or so - not that cheap. And they've got more 'seconds' on ebay, this time with a buy it now of £250

I'm not too keen on the look of them for the reasons that No_Angel mentioned. I'd like to have a look at one in the flesh but won't spend that much money to buy one when I really don't need a third saddle.

One of the significant problems with treeless is a pressure point at the girth. The billet straps on this are supposed to be a "comfort girth strap" setup--the front billet is sewn onto the FLAP. Without a way to get the billet bressure across the spine and distributed front-to-back, those billets will definitely create extra pressure. And being sewn onto the flap is just horrid--it puts way too much pressure on the flap and on the attachment to the flap. You're looking at a major riding hazard; it'll be uncomfortable for the horse and it's likely to eventually just come off.
