i think the mane and tail stuff should work fine as coat sine is basically the same stuff as mane and tail spray in a different bottle (read the ingreadients on the two and see how many similarities you can spot!)

I use value baby wipes on Cossack which keep his coat shiny and dust free for days. I personally wouldn't use the mane and tail recipe as a coat shine as in my experience from using it, the oil tends to attract dust even if you shake the bottle well before use.

I much prefer champion tails coatshine. I put about a 1/6th of a bottle into a bucket of water and throw/sponge it all over him. Works a treat.

Do you have a product called 'Mr Min' ? Its a silicone based aerosol polish for furniture. It works brilliantly to do the same job as Canter Mane & Tail, and you can choose different fragrances like lavender or citrus that flies don't like so much. It works great on the body as well, just don't put it under the saddle because it makes the coat slippery/shiny.

A friend uses 'Spray and Cook" to detangle tails, but I prefer the above. ;)
