I currently feed Cherry Cortaflex but I know some of you have been singing the praises of Gold Label's Glucosamine 5000 Plus from Robinsons....

It appears from the dosage that you can get two month's supply for £20.60 plus postage, which would suit my budget a LOT more .... :o

Any opinions, comments or advice would be gratefully received.....

Merrick's been on Gold Label for 2 tubs now and seems just as good as when he was on Cortaflex. In fact he's feeling a little *too* good at the moment and is getting a little energetic  Might need to cut his dose... :D

Can I just ask, how old are your horses and how come you put them on joint supplements? Only reason I ask is that I don't know if a joint supplement would be beneficial for my madam or not...

amber is 13 and has had arthris in her hock since she was 10, maddie is 16 and has it as a just in case measure as she raced and had stress on her joints.

Merrick's 12 and has had so many problems I wouldn't know where to start! (Read my site for the background info!)
But lots of people feed a supplement as a preventative measure or if their horse has mild stiffness. Gold Label seems as good as any other I've tried and is a lot cheaper :)

I have used both, Gold label was fantastic for Ellie (21yo CB), it really helped her when nothing else did (including cortaflex).

Things work differently for different horses so i always think its worth a go:)
