Dolly is currently being exercised morning and evening- once by me, once by my sharer/helper/schooler.

She usually gets between 30 and 45 mins schooling in the morning and an hour or so's hack in the evening, or the other way round- sometimes I do the schooling and A does the hacking, usually the other way round though!

She gets at least one day a week off, and a couple of times a week only gets exercised once- so I guess she's being exercised twice a day three or four days a week generally.

Is that OK? She needs to loose a bit more weight, and needs to tone up some flabby muscles, but I don't want to over do it!:)

I dont see why not. If you were doing two hours a day of strenuous schooling maybe not, but schooling in the morning and hacking in the evening sounds good to me. She'll be losing those pounds yet. Dont forget to take pics of her every day so we can see that belly going down fast :D:p

Safi normally gets a 20-30 min lunge and worked for about 30-40 mins under saddle, each day, plus normally goes on the walker aswell.

Splendid! I figured riding school horses often get worked a lot more, but still have to worry, cause I'm her mum and that's my job:D

She is looking great at the moment- will be posting a 'before and after' thread soon, so keep an eye out for pics of my 'Fat Girl Slim':D

I think that's absolutely fine as she is getting a nice long break in betwee "classes" - plus she is getting a variety of exercise too - gosh I reckon she will be all toned up and sleek in no time at all.... how lovely. :)
