keeping Greys clean!!!!

hey does any one have any good ideas to keep the good old greys clean if soo please tell me!!:) :p ;)

My Storm is a self cleansing horse! hehe, I find the only way to keep her clean is to do lots of good old fashioned brushing. I'm not a great horse bather - she was terrified of the hose pipe and indeed of sponges up until a couple of months ago! I have a chalk block for the really bad stains - don't use it that often tho. I find she rarely sleeps in her own poo now - but we're on a better bedding which is more like shavings and a lot cleaner than straw. Baby wipes are handy too - tho it took me ages to convince madam that they weren't going to eat / hurt her!!!! When I did give her a sponge bath I used a shampoo for blondes - think it helped a little.

i use baby wipes on skittles' grey bits :p they are verry effective. or you can go to the tack shop and buy some stain remover, but you have to wash it off, so i dont tend to use it much but its good for emergancie touch ups at shows ;)
lots and lots of brushing will normaly do the trick too :)
