Barefoot update

Well Bry has been barefoot for 10 days now and her feet are looking really good already.

There are no cracks or chips and she still appears to be 100% sound.

We have completed a 12 mile fun ride in our barefoot boots and schooled without them 3 times aswell as hacked with the boots.

She walks fine over gravel and isn't slipping anymore...yay!!

At the moment I am feeling very lucky and really pleased with my decision.

Thats great, a good investment i think! Now if theres any way you can make a clone of Brys feet and send them over here to replace Aramis's crappy ones please let me know :D

Jenren, the only way you're going to fix those feet for sure is to bite the bullet and follow suit :D Tess who has very flat front feet has been barefoot just over a month now and you can see just under half an inch of tight new growth under the coronet band. Prior to that the farrier had to nail back through the same holes because there wasn't enough new growth after 6 weeks. She's also going like a train in her hoof boots:)
