Anyone tried them and do they work? Am contemplating the onset of winter like everyone and wondering if one might help Buffy when she's stabled.

They do seem to be coming very popular, i think they are useful if your horse is on his own, kids them into thinking they have company.
i seem to remember reading that liverpool university did a trial on this with regards to stopping horses weaving etc'
i know they are not recommended to be put any where near where you fed your horse in his stable for obvious reasons.:D

At my old RS the horsese used to have mirrors, kept them amused for hours :D
I want to put some up for Blackie cos he loves things that can facinate him :)

not got one up in stars stable but we have one in the horse trailer and he loves it! he's so vain though he just loves looking at himself! its a nightmare riding in the indoor arena at college because one side is mirrored and we'll be going round really nicely then star will hold his head up going round to the mirrored side to look at himself! he regularly whinnies at his reflection too
