Hi,
had my 13th lesson last week and my RI said I should enter the beginners w/t dressage, so fast forward to monday morning,
I turn up at 10.05(test was at 10.10) nursing a giant hangover after about 5 hrs sleep. I was riding RS moody mare Siobhan so had to go early cos she's not allowed near any other horses

someone else was riding her first, so I didn't get a warm up, it was a straight leg up, then do your test

I was so nervous I didn't realise till I saw the last photo I wsn't even holding the reins right.:(
Anyway, I enjoyed it even though I was old enough to be the grandmother of some of my fellow competitors:eek:
I scored 107 did good o's and half o's :D but not so good on some of the easier things:(
Best of all, I didn't come last:)

You look really good for just 13 lessons! :)

I wish my school did things like that. Perhaps I'll have to ask about it.... :D

Aw thanks Wobblydeb,
Just got to remember to close fingers on reins, elbows in, shoulders back, dont colapse through left hip on left rein, breathe! etc:(

Don't worry too much curlycal. You did really well considering you didn't have time to warm up and all that!

The main thing is you did it and had a good time as well.:D
