OH and I were working of getting hunni to lift his front feet and then I just hopped up to walk for a bit and this is the result! I have no idea if my position is good or not but I think my leg is forward and my hands, well just don't look at them! My excuse for the leg is that I'm short and he's wide.

Lovely laura jeanne. Lovely horse too. I couldnt do that on my lesson horse and in UK school. Watching you ride so nicely makes me envious.
By the way, what is this about being older? You have the body of a twenty year old.

My RI had told me when I started my bareback lessons- no cantering!

The Best Part of the night was that when I went to get him in his paddock, he was in the far corner and came trotting right over to see me.

Every time I want to trot, he starts to go into a lope and that kind of thows off my balance a little. OH had tied the end of the lead rope to make some reins and while I was cantering, it came undone and I came to a fairly scary stop. He will stop when I lean forward at all and so that's why I may look like I'm leaning back a little.
