mouldy chaps!!!

hi,
i've got some suede half chaps that i've had 4 about a year now. they got a bit wet recently and i left them at the yard. when i returned a couple of days later they had started to grow mould!!!!!
i took them home to dry them out bit the mould still grew!
ny ideas on what to do? or nything i could put on them?

wipe the mould of with a damp sponge thats got a touch of disenfectant on it..go to a shoe shop and get some suede cleaner..it is a shampoo thingy that waterproofs the suede too

Just wash them in warm soapy (not detergent) water, give them a final rinse in water made cloudy with saddle soap and don't rinse them out, let them dry in a warm but not hot place. Not over the radiator or Aga!!

I do this with mine regularly.
