Looking at putting Rhi into foal next year. Looking at wanting to get a 14.2hh from her. How big should the stallion be? How old should they be before you bit them too (just a question as it was discussed as biting during the first year but I thought that would be too young.


Rhi is 14.1hh and 11yrs old. So lgd if you know of something native let me know

Welsh D at around 15.0 to 15.2?
Something Spanish? (But I am biased, there are some smaller ones around the 15.2 mark)
Lipizzaner?

i wouldn't bit under 2 - did that with the Arab Colts for showing. Preferably 3 but I am a bit old-fashioned.

Herbie Brass up Seaham way has a nice Dun Section D stallion. Will make enquiries for contact details as I think a friend is planning on using him for her mare.

Oh dun Section D??? Lovely! I have only ever seen one dun D before bred by June Alexander of Oakdene.
