I have had 2 lessons at another school :D
I had one assessment lesson ON MY OWN :rolleyes:and shared a second, both on Chalky the pony :)
The instructor was really nice and clear and is helping with my dodgey position :) The yard is very clean and professional.
Now feeling a lot happier :)

Yay, well done you!! Sounds like this yard suits you much better, so I hope you have fun riding there with Chalky the pony!

Only just found this, I always miss your threads.
You're stumped now though - you can never say a word against the yard on here without me breathing down your neck :p

I think I am improving :) I'm going to try a group lesson too.
At the beginning there was a time Chalky refused to halt and I felt so silly walking round :o
Also my legs hurt when I held them back in the correct position and I had a terrible slouch.
Now my legs wrap round properly, slouching is less of a problem and I feel the pony is responding to what I am trying to do e.g. left right faster, and I barely used the whip yesterday.
I've now got attached to Monty

He nibbled my coat when I said hi after my lesson which was really cute and the instructor said I rode him quite well.
This is Chalky looking VERY sleepy

Monty :D such a sweetie. Rocky is always having a sleep :p. And Chalky is always tinged with yellow or green, which is why I decided never to have a grey horse (although he isnt grey, he's a fewspot but same difference :p).

Monty :D such a sweetie.
:D yes he is
I was amused to find out Rocky and Chalky compete every morning for Chalky's stable so that's why they're sometimes in the wrong stable
