Hi there,
Does anyone know of any distance learning courses in some aspect of holistic/natural horsemanship? I cant seem to find anything that dosent cost a bomb. I wanted to do my BHS exams but its impossible for me as I have a baby daughter and I struggle getting childcare. But i'm desperate to use this time not riding constructively by trying to learn as much as I can. Any ideas anyone??:p

Why don't you buy some books. I bought BHS Stage 1 & 2 by Maxine Cave and the BHS Stable Management Book.

If you go to the BHS site it will show you all the course books, videos or tapes.

I did it that way, plus 2 lesson a week. I bought the books in August and took my exam at the end of November.

Good Luck:)

There is a course that you can do from home, from an agricultural college, that i think is in Warwickshire. Try searching on the internet for equine colleges and have a look.

Hope this helps.

Warwickshire college have a range of courses that you can do at home. I'm also thinking about doing one because I have a young daughter. They're not too dear, and you can get tutor support for a few more £££'s. I think you can also go to lectures in the summer and stuff.
