... well, you remember I said we were looking for a loan horse for Enya to school and learn to jump on and placed an ad in the classifieds...
I had an email from a lovely lady with a super sounding boy! He's a 15hh bay TB/Hackney x gelding who's done a bit of most things and loves his work. He is a schoolmaster and very kind to novice riders, hacks out and not spooky or silly in traffic. He is 22 years old but still working 5-6 days a week. She has had him over three years now and feels she is too heavy for him and that he needs be working with a lighter novice rider, she says he restored her confidence and wants him to do the same for another rider. He sounds lovely and is described as a proper gentleman both on the ground and under saddle!
The lady and her riding friend came to see us last weekend and met Megan and saw our facilities. They have much better facilities than us :o but we can offer a kind, loving home with lots of tlc, hugs and polo mints as required :D They showed Enya video footage of him jumping and schooling and she was smitten from that point on :p
Tomorrow afternoon Enya is going to try him in the school and then having a little hack out on him, she's busting a gut with excitement :eek: :p
As the biggest nag for pictures I'd better oblige...
