Not sure what you mean? Are you saying that your horses are getting the necessary hard feed in relation to the amount of work, grass during the day and hay at night?

It sounds fine. You will soon be able to tell if your feeding program needs adjustment by your horses behaviour, weight gain or loss and general well being. Obviously you don't want to wait until you get to this stage.

It also depends on the type of horses you have. For example, a 15h TB would require more feed than a 15h cob.

If you are worried, you could always contact a feed company, such as Balanced Horse Feeds etc - they have qualified nutritionists who are happy to advise you.
