Ok, i just got my Old Mac G2 boots and i need help coming up with a training squedual to get magic used to them. I bought 2 pairs, so all four feet will be coverd. Any one have any experiance with braking a horse in to them? I know that the first few times she wears them she may get a bit sore where the boot rubs (i got the recomended socks to menimize chaffing). Also, she has not been riden in a while, so should i start out in a walk and then gradually work her in too a small trot? Any help would be great ;D

I walked Bry out in hers the first time and then did a bit of trott with mostly walk then went on as normal.
I was planning on trying canter then happened to go on a fun ride and so skipped the canter and went straight onto the gallop:o

i was going to start at a walk, for the first few times since she has not been riden in a while, and maybe go in a a small trot in a few days.

My first ride in G2s was about 40 minutse long, then I went to an hour and worked up to 2 hours in the space of about a week and a half.

I use the pastern wraps every time and haven't had any problems with the boots rubbing.
