Just want to congratulate you UK-guys who have your own Parelli Office again.

The rest of Europe is still waiting to be allowed into the "real" (International) Savvy Club...

Thanks for the information 99E, I knew they where planning to open an office in the UK but didn't expect it this soon!!:)

I need to check if there's a package suitable for me. As my horse hates any type of bit, I'll not be progressing through the levels - so I'm after a package that just includes monthly magazines and access to the members area of the website.

Here's the PNH link to the UK info

You don't have to use a snaffle bit at all, unless you want an official Level 3 assesment - the new Savvy Systems L1+2 do not tell you to use a snaffle.

But you can be a member of the Savvy Club - which will get you a monthly DVD or Magazine with educational & inspirational "stuff".

That's very interesting :) I passed my L1 using the old PNH system, at the time, the bit was reintroduced midway through L2 and the official assessment required you to ride in a snaffle bit. This is why I never bothered to progress through the levels.

So, do you only need to use a natural hackamore in the ridden section of the new system? if this is the case I'll definately become a full member again!!!!:D

As far as I read this: http://www.parelli.com/files/assess/two_assess_new.pdf you can du your assessment in hackamore OR bridle.

Thanks for that link 99E, it certainly confirms riding in a snaffle bit isn't compulsory for the L2 assessment.:)

What I've read of it so far, the new L2 groundwork doesn't appear much different to the old L2 (which is good news because we've unofficially completed all the online/liberty tasks and am now on L3).

What I also noticed different between the old and new programme is, unlike the old L2, the new assessment doesn't appear to include a gallop task to be completed, if this is the case, WHAT A BONUS!!! :D

I must admit I'm to much of a coward (and have way to many years behind me now) to attempt that gait with my thoroughbred.

I've contacted the UK office and Lynne is sending me a free savvy club DVD and all membership information.
