Hello,

I've just bought my first horse and am looking at buying the Barefoot Cheyenne saddle to ride her in as she is still young and so is still changing shape. I also prefer the idea behind treeless saddles over treed saddles and the Cheyenne seems to be the best compromise between quality and price.

I've been onto the Horse and Harmony website but can not see anywhere that talks about getting someone out to ensure it suits your horse. Now I know that a treeless saddle has a wider scope of horses that it will fit than a treed one but I don't want to take any chances with Millie's back and so want someone more knowledgeable than me to ensure it fits her properly.

Does anyone know if Horse and Harmony do saddle fittings or if not, if there is anyone that stocks the Cheyenne and covers the South Buckinghamshire area that would do this?

Thanks,

Zesty M

I think that Better Saddles sell the Cheyenne but I bought mine blind in the faith that it would fit - thankfully it did! Getting the under pad isn't so easy if you have a high withered horse - I am on my 2nd and about to change again! They are lovely saddles but the only thing I can say is to put an appeal on the General page in the hope that someone locally to you may have one you can try out. I happily let peeps look at mine.
