update?

I noticed the forum was off a while this afternoon due to updates...can i ask what has been updated? :D.

I notices another icon on the bottom right next to the 'quote' - it says 'multi quote' .... is that the update?

Think the thing down in the bottom right hand corner is new.
Also when you look for threads by a particular person, if the name doesn't exist or something then the notice comes up at the top of the old page and not a completly new page.

I think you click on each message that you want to quote then go to reply and all the selected bits are there in the message.

Yeah, just tested it.

If you click on the little thing on each of the ones you want to quote and then press 'reply to post' they will all come up in one :)

Its much easier that way :)

When they're little, (which is why I chose the one I've got now - Tis my smallest) I think they're cute, but when they're massive and stretch the page I hate them. They'll only upload 500X100 though so it shouldn't be too bad.

i hate them tbh. You always get prats who have MASSIVE ones and i hate it :( its the main reson i prefer NR to jumpoff and stuff. and NR is just generally better too...

No, I quite like yours - is small and a good shape for the forum. I wouldn't have a problem if everyone has one that size:) It's no more distracting that a line of text. In fact, I want one in pink;)

Others i seen that are distracting are the square ones that are longer or as long as they are wide.

I like having signature pics as long as they are'nt too big,the size they are on NR is good :)

For those you find the signatures distracting you haev the option in your profile to turn them off so you don't see them.

Yes, apologies, the signature image was enabled by default during the upgrade and some very keen people got in very quick to add pictures.

It is now turned off and any images added will disappear as well. I agree that signature images just make the board look messy and cluttered and are too open for abuse.
