Riding on holiday

In April I will be on holiday in South West USA. During my visit I will be spending time on two resort ranches (in Death Valley and in Arizona). I have only been learning to ride for 6 months. Does anyone know if I will be offered the opportunity to ride English style, its all I know (and my knowledge of that is rudimentary). If not, what do I need to be aware of in changing to riding in a western saddle and tack with a horse unfamiliar with classical riding? Is is likely to feel difficult? I keep hearing that western riding is easier.
