Appaloosa Patterns

Can anybody tell me what they are and a description please? I'm not sure whether my Appaloosa is a Leopard or Snowflake... Thanks! :D

sorry I not good at explaining how to put pictures on....it took me bloody ages to work it out. :rolleyes:

Have you worked out if yours is a leopard or snowflake yet? I have one, she is a chestnut roan :)

To put photos on use www.photobucket.com

You upload your photos on to the website, then when u want to post a picutre, copy the URL from the website, click the little postcard lookalike icon (tht has a mountain on) and paste the URL in the text box!

Then just submit the thread as normal!

A snowflake Appaloosa is an Appy of any color (other than white) which is sprinkled with white spots all over it's body.

A leopard Appy is a white horse which has colored spots all over it's body.

A blanket Appy is a colored horse with white over the hip area. This white can either be solid or spotted.

A varnish roan Appy is an Appy with roaning (white hairs mixed with color) all over it's body.

Well, my appy's mum was dunn and his dad was leopard appy so I think he's a dunn leopard???
