This is being sold as a fhoenix but someone told me that it looks more like the heather moffett SBS saddle. What do you think??

The pics are probably a bit too small to tell.?

Have a look on Heather's site and there will be descriptions of both fheonix and SBS.
Even if it is an SBS I'd go for it, the only reason the SBS has turned into the Fheonix is to shut the law suit up.

i cant see the pics:(
theres not alot of difference to look at with the fhoenix and the sbs unless you have a suber pad fhoenix or a butt leather one.

it looks like a fhoenix to me, but is quite hard to tell with those pics.

Is it the one on ebay:

If it is then it is being described as part-treed and so would be the fhoenix :)

You could also contact the seller to verify that it is a fhoenix :)

The stirrup bars on the SBS are quite straight. The Fhoenix Suberpad bars have more of a stopper at the end to stop your leathers coming off and the prolite model That I have now ordered has more of a rounded bar - bit like half a semi circle of metal. All difficult to explain.
The saddle looks like a fhoenix but I would ask for the picture of the stirrup bar to make sure. The SBS has a larger cantle.
