Hey all, a while ago I had had to get a bitless bridle because my horse had bad teeth. at first I was really hesitant because he's strong and an ex-race horse. However, he's BRILLIANT!!! I was just wondering if my horse has taken well to it, or if many people have had similar (or opposite!) experiences? Talk soon, Rachael.

I have an ex racer, and shes bitless:D
She was evil bitted, awful to tack up, but since shes been bitless shes a star.
I first had her in a dr cook but she was very strong it that and it rubbed her raw where the rings on teh noseband are, so after a 'break' lol (broke my collarbone, not off her) I changed her to a happywheel and shes super, we do endurance rides now.

aw thats great! I have mine in a scawbrig by libby's- its really cool because you can get them in loads of different colours :) I know what you mean, Teddy used to bite the bit and gallop off, but with the added poll & noseband pressure, he's great. I'm really glad to see how many people rehome ex-race horses!! :D:cool: btw gorgeous horse!!
