hey,
i was just wondering if any of you know about what to feed your horses and whats good for them and whats not. i feed my horses hay and sweet feed lots of treats hehe;) (of course) hay and alfalfa only for my horse tho the alfalfa i mean but anyway my dad is a farmer and he had some extra wheat and he told me i should feed it to the horses but i was kind of skeptical and paraniod about it so i was just wondering if its good for them. in the morning i check theire buckets in the barn and its all gone but i have seen my horse chew some and then throw it all around. so yeah i was just wondering if you guys knew anything about that. Thanx ! >dressagefreak<

Do you think you could re-phrase the question, a little more clearly?

With any new feed introduce very gradually.
wheat is used in youngstok mixes and probably a lot of other mix tyoe things too.
I wouldn't think it was bad for horses, but remember that it is hard feed and part of the concentrates, so never let it replace your fibre
