Can anyone tell me how I can find out more about the Progressive Riding Tests. I have looked on the BHS site but I can only find a little bit about it, I can't seem to find out which schools offer the tests - or is it ALL BHS app schools? The other thing is that it says that BHS app school do the tests but I have just moved from a BHS app school because I was getting nowhere fast! Also the girl teaching me was only doing her BHS stage 2 and I have since found out that she shouldn'thave been teaching me unsupervised anyway - and it was costing me £20! I have even looked on the Where to Train section and most of the Stable or Colleges listed just seem to offer the Stage Exams and higher.

Does anyone know how I can find out more or which schools offer the tests?

Has anyone done these tests? Can someone tell me what these tests involve?

Thanks

As far as I understand it BHS approved centres can offer the progressive riding tests but many find them difficult to monitor. Only the riding establishment can get the syllabuses not an individual. Any who offer BHS training could offer the progressive tests but not all do by any means. Maybe a quick phone around your local ones may be a way of finding out?
