Yard Moan!!!!

This is the first time in ages that i have posted but I really need to unload.
Why are some yards sooo competitive??? I have a pony on loan who I really love to hack out ( we are in the welsh mountains ).

I have done Trec comps & local dressage & jumping in the past.

At the moment I have lots of changes going on at home that i need to focus on, so my riding time is for me to chill out without any hastle or pressure.

This seems to be a problem for some people at my yard who think that i should be doing more. I am sure that when things at home settle down I will think about competing again. But what is wrong with just hacking out & having a relaxing time when riding ?

Sorry my first post in ages is a whinge but i am so fed up with justifying what i do.

Just tell them that you are embarrassed about showing everyone else up - and that you're having a rest while they all catch up.:rolleyes:
