When Sooty rode Cherry.....

..... today, Sooty came to "check-out" the new yard, so - as I have been promising for weeks - she finally had her first ride on Cherry!!! I lugged my bike into the back of my poor long-suffering Fiesta, along with a stepladder (improvised mounting block - until Dom gets busy with some timber and a saw ;) ). Cherry was her usual "Come ON - let's GO!!!" as soon as someone was mounted which I think Sooty found slightly disconcerting, but Chez soon settled into her stride and I rode the bike either in front or behind and we had a right old natter, wandering along a (fairly) quiet lane... the sun was trying to break through and it was a VERY pleasant experience... Thanks Sooty for exercising my mare and I'm glad you enjoyed yourself....

Sooty, shall I post the piccy or are you keeping yourself private? And more importantly - does anyone want to SEE a beaming Sooty???? :p

YES, we want to see Sooty... and have you forgotten what a very convenient mounting block a trampoline can be (apparently :rolleyes: )

*Cringe* I HATE having my photo taken and I nearly escaped by getting off before Jane got her phone out - but it was worth it to have an hour on the lovely Cherry and a good old natter :)

Cherry was such a good girl, didn't bat an eyelid at all the traffic on the main road. Only spooky thing we saw was a field entrance :confused: :rolleyes:

I have promised that I will ride the bike next time! Hope you're not too saddle-sore :o
