Slimcea Girl :o}

Well it has been officially 6 months since I have taken May on as her 3 day a week sharer.

She was quite porky - definate good dooer and a real concern re laminitis.

This was her around July time - she had already lost a bit of weight here.

Her girth has gone from 3 & 3 holes to 5 & 4 holes!

As the grass is deteriorating at this time of year she is having 1/2 day with grazing muzzle and 1/2 day off. Infact her mum let her off the whole of yesterday.

I'm so proud of our gorgeous girlie. She is so much happier and energetic. It was really worth all the hard work.

But your pix, although lovely, take ages to load, and I'm on broadband. I dread to think what they must be like for people on dialup. Could you possibly reduce them a bit before you post them? I started typing this while I was waiting for them to load, and they still haven't finished!

I'm sorry - it has been irritating me too!

I've reduced the size of the pics under Edit in photobucket but when I cut and paste onto this they don't seem to have shrunk!

Can anyone give me some advice here?

I just googled for example 'smilie fat' and usually a forum from another chat room comes up where you get to see their range of smilies.

Just copy and save to my pictures - I have a smilie folder now, and then upload into photobucket - once again into my smilie folder. Then just copy and paste them into the thread.

ANY way... blimey, May looks different even from the time I met her in lateSeptember-- the grass has 'gone down' as they say, and now all your work on her is revealing itself. Brilliant job, Dee!


PS Do they still make Slimcea? Haven't seen it for yonks. I remember the Nimble ad. Do you? Can you imagine May up in big balloon, floating over the yard as they play "She flies like a bird in the sky- y- y..."

You've done a cracking job with May and deserve a pat on the back, she looks great :)

The loss was very gradual but it seems to have fallen off over the last 4 weeks with the change in grass and temp.

Even with her fluffy winter coat she looks slim.

Can't believe the girth - saddle doesn't fit though so mum is getting the saddler out.

Echo the thoughts of muzzles for us - I think I have absorbed her blubber via osmosis!

I'm working on it, though.
