as the title says im taking my saintly but rather speedy pony on a fun ride this sunday and the plan is to make the most of the XC there on offer on the way round  :)

update, life is grand, could do with a grand or two but other than that me and drummer are really bonding since he was ill in the summer, like really bonding and working together.

he is going like a dream on the lunge/pessoa for me and free schooling is fab, he'll jump for me, do all transisiitions up and down and work on a large or 20m circle loose :D and follow me round setting up jumps

hacking is still going well and galloping accross the quantocks (in company on the hills still at present, but alone everywhere else)

ridden work is really coming on in leaps an bounds thanks to all of the above and is really making a difference to how he responds to me re having to get to know my voice, bonding and his canter is coming and he has not carted me off since he was ill :)

everything is coming together better than ever and im relaxing and sitting back and enjoying it ALL

even given myself safety nets to ride in, as before i just pushed and strived and strived and pushed my nerves to their limits....im still doing it all and must say im having fun

fun ride............ im dont think im feeling nervous, i girl of 14 is coming with me, so im MOM  hope drummers good, sure he will be, but im not getting myself into a worried frenzy over it......we're going to hav a fun few hours out  :)

I'm sure you'll have a brilliant time and in my eyes one of the best ways to introduce some fun XC:D
Here's hoping the weather is good for you, and Drummer is a good influence for the young girl going with you.

Update us on Monday

I'm in the same predicament, although not sure if we've even got transport for the Cheshire 10 mile on Sunday. Just checked weather on the internet and its going to be diabolical!!

Oh well, after much to-ing and fro-ing, we decided to cancel. However, the weather here was lovely Sunday morning, although it did rain from 2.30 onwards. Never mind - perhaps next time! Did anybody else go to Daresbury?
