Buddy List/Block List?

Well you know you have that option to add someone to your buddy list, or block them (I think it's block)....what does it actually *do*?

I've added a person I know off board onto my buddy list. The only difference I've seen with them as opposed to anyone else is that:

well you know that list of users currently on line - scroll right down to the bottom of page with the list of forums on it to see it, or list of threads within a forum - when your buddy is online they get a + next to their name. If anyone knows any better I would be interested to know too.

I would think the block button would stop that member from PMing you but don't know for sure. Perhaps someone else can explain better.

If you click on "Quick Links" in the blue line at the top - 3rd one down if you click on it will show you your buddy list and whether they are on-line too. :)
