2 point it the folding of the body as u jump right???

to improve your 2 point, jumping with out stirrups has to be the best way to improve it!!!, also thinking that you have to stick your bottom out, and get your belly button near the pommel!!trying to keep your legs under you.

this will help your friend and you
practise rows of trotting poles keep a balenced light seat, also when you hack out, spend a couple of minutes in trot, in the postion this will really strengthen your upper body, and you will be able to do it longer!!

go out and do lots of hacking and practising as well as being fun, it will imporve your two point!!!

When in 2-point, your belly button should be directly over the pommel as lamprell said, also you should be able to see your toes when looking straight ahead and just rolling your eyes down, this is important so that you know your legs are not too far back. Your heels should be down and your reins should b short. Your calves should be pressed against the horse but your heels should not be dug into the horse' side. Hope this helps!

Oh yes, hehe, I forgot one other important detail: as my instructor says, your bum should be sticking out like you are passing gas. Yes I know it is a bid crude but you will definitely remember it! :D

Just remember not to stand in the stirrups. Your bum should be stuck out but also close to the saddle. There's no need to see air between you legs and the saddle.

Watch the top show jumpers on TV for the the "ideal" position.
