Just thought I should pass on the information :)
If you need to add nutrients to your horse's diet, but don't have extra cash to get the grain, gel, powder, or whatever, you can always pick some wild dandelions and feed them to your horse. I feed the yellow heads of dandelions to May, two everytime I see her. I think you can feed the white fluffy ones (also known as dandelion clocks) the stem, and leaves.
They have significently high rates of vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, iron, and calcium :D
