He won't grow in height now - but he might fill out a bit more over the next couple of years.
Most horses are done height-wise by about 4, but will continue to bulk up until about 7.
Occasionally you find a horse that grows maybe half an inch or so more after 4 or 5, but it won't be more than that, and it's not usual for ponies to keep growing in height once they reach 5.

Some breeds do mature later than others; breeds like Clydesdales and Shires can often grow in height even at 6 or 7.
But cobby ponies, do tend to finish at around 4! You would be lucky to see more than half an inch more in height now.
Any piccies by horses4lf? I used to breed coloured ponies... :D They still have a big place in my heart! :D

Our 5year old cob mare has gone from a wide wintec gullet to a xxw thorowgood saddle in a month and gained 2 inches of height!
They can grow until 7 at least (their good old cold blood stock comes through!)
Same as arabs (got one of them too!)

if he's a native (which he sounds, cobby-native-pony type) then he will probably mature later - at around 6-7 years old - but i'd only expect him to grow a couple of inches, possibly to a hand maximum.
given a balanced diet will help to ensure he grows as he should, so if you're unsure contact a nutritionist online/over the phone - mostly free.
