Are you in New Zealand? If so, I'm not entirely sure he'd have the bone for Saddle Hunter, so maybe large hack?We've had issues deciding which ring to put Woody in, as he was quite light over winter and we thought hack, but he's beefed up, and we're not sure about the bone, but now thinking lightweight saddle hunter.

Depends what level you want to do, horses height, riders age etc. At top level horse is too fit/lean for showing. We have tried this with a mare who was eventing fit and most judges asked if we had a problem putting on weight!
