I think that you need to be careful when asking people to post pictures of them jumping. I assume that you want to see pictures of good form. None of us are professionals, so our form may be less than perfect. I don't want to pick on anybody, but since jumpingislife directed us to her photo, it should be noted that you don't want to copy her form. Her leg has slipped back slightly and she is too far out of the saddle. I don't want to be mean, but you need to be careful.

you don't want to copy that, its not the worce but not the best.....you can't see my face but i have a whops on it lol, my horse took a BIG jump so its not that great....if you try horsephotos.com i think thats what it is you can find some pix, and showjumping.com (not sure bout that one) another i know of is www.tvshowjumping.com (not sure of there are pix on it though). try just typing into a msn/askjeeves search box or something....if you go to mamma.com you can search for horses jumping a select pictures and you will get JUST pictures instead of a bunch of websites where there may not be some

I have tons of pictures of me jumping with position worse than that. My horse has a habit of chipping in or getting too long of a distance whenever the camera is on her.:D I was going through my jumping pictures to find on to send into Pracctical Horseman for George Morris to judge, but I couldn't find any good pictures. :( All of the ones that were beautifully framed and in focus had me jumping like crap, but the pictures when I had nice position were either blurry or taken from too far away. http:www.catchride.com has pictures of people jumping along with a judge's critique of each picture. That way you can look at the pictures and see what the person is doing right, or wrong.

Ok, jumpingislife I just checked out your gallery, and I have to agree with myEllie, you're a little too far in front of the movement, and your legs have slipped back. Also, the take-off point looked really short, did your horse chip in...? Your horse's knees are hanging dangerously loose, you should practice tightening up your horse's form over gymnastics before attempting anything higher... otherwise, nice pictures. :)

Did you guys see those pics on Catchride.com about slaughterhouses my friends and I started like crying almost. It was so sad and to hear how they are killed and then the nail REUSED. I feel soooooooooo bad and I want to do something about it Haven't the People who eat horses heard of thinks we like to call:Turkeys, Chicken, Duck(Yuck), Cows(Ok with mad cow and hoof and mouth that's not too safe in Europe), Pig, Geese(Yuck), Lamb etc. Horses are way to beautiful and trusting and make great pets(ONLY if you know what your doing)if my horse(in the future as I don't have 1) was unable to be riden I would put in in a pasture in the day and a big stall was soft shavings so it can live out it's life in comfort and happiness.
