Poor CIlla. Vet came today.

Quite a while agao, Cilla's vest rubbed her and she got sore on her withers. We bathed it regularly aired it and watched it heal. It became quite a sore. A couple of days ago I looked at it again to notice it was a bit puffy, more bathing. On of the RI's on the yard told me to put honney onto it, she said it was anti bacterial and had healing powers. I did.

Yesterday, it was even soorer, and I tried to bath it.

Today I went to bath it, she was so sensitive she tried to rear away from me. I called the vet.

Vet says that honney is sometimes an option, but she thinks Cilla is possibly alergic to it. Shes worried that she might have got an infection into her wither bone. Shes on bute and antibiotics, with the vet comming again on Fri.

Poor CIlla.

What a fab thing bute is.

Today when I unrugged Cilla, she was quite chilled insted of yesterdays fear and panic. Gave her her bute and antibotics and a few hours later gave the area a good clean up. She let me almost touch it without twitching. I think that it was an alegic reaction rather than a bone infection, well I really hope so. Hopefully even better tomorrow.
