All of those names are heard in quarterhorses even down here in New Zealand!
And very wide ranging breeding too... I think it's just one of those traditions or something that follows through QH, you'll find them all through the USA and Canada too.

If you're talking about the Doc Bar lines, Coquette is related to them. Her great-great-great-grand sire is Docs Poco Speedy by Doc Bar, the sire of Doc o Lena and grand sire of Smart Little Lena.
Coquette's pedigree is here:

caryscody, your horses sire comes from some of the older "reining/halter" horse lines. "Sonny Dee Bar", "Blondies Dude" and "Two Eyed Jack" are all quarter horse legends. The Sires dame has some "speed" horses in the top side of the pedigree, "Go Man Go" and "Chicabar" had high speed indexes I believe. I'm not familiar with the names on the bottom of the dams pedigree.
The link for your horses Dame doesn't work, can't tell you about that one.
I suspect you have a pretty athletic horse that might do well in performance type events. Enjoy him, quarter horses are the most popular horses in the world. When you own one you realize why that's true.
Have fun, be safe

My horse Cisco is cow bred and he's a tough little athletic horse that loves cutting. His grandparents are San Jo Lena, and Mr. San Peppy. San Jo Lena's grandparent was Doc O'Lena.

Hey Smaggi, your down there in the hills near OU. Ever come near Peebles be sure and blow your horn. Your horse has some nice cow horse blood for sure. "I'll bet my boots he can turn around", ;)
We've got a 3yo gelding, by a son of Doc Tari, and out of a Skippa Star mare. He's a little dude, cold backed, but oh can he use his hind legs. He's going to be a lot of fun in the future.
"Oh Yes, I'm a quarter horse rider, saddle up and let us run, America's horse won't let ya down, when theres running or work to be done"
Have fun, be safe

Hey Levi1739, you are really close. I'll let you know if we ever head that way. It would be great to get together sometime.
It looks like you've got some really good bloodlines too. Cisco also has Quincy Pistola as a great grandparent. We have another cow bred horse with Mr San Peppy and Poco Tivio blood. I love those cow lines. They are level headed and athletic, the perfect combination.
Cisco and I are just getting started on cows. I am taking a 6 week cow working clinic. We meet for 4 hours once a week. Cisco and I have been on cows 3 times now and he LOVES it. So do I. The first night he walked calmly into the herd. When they didn't move he pinned his ears. If they still didn't move he took a bite of hamburger on their butt. He only bit them the first night and hasn't done it since then. He really comes alive on cows and last time he started doing some cutting on his own. That was a blast. Next Thursday is my cutting class. I can't wait.

My 5 year old sec III QH mare is related to Tuffy Dude. Her sire is Lunar Lucre whose sire was Waccabuc (Tuffy Dude). When I bought my mare I was given a copy of a couple of pages from a book which mention Tuffy Dude's impressive career, if you'd like a copy let me know.
