Coquette is four and half now. About a year ago, she was 14.2, a few months ago she was 14.3. She's a little low in the wither and we thought that was just how she was built and we'd have to make sure her head was up in halter classes to hide it. But today she didn't look so low in the withers. Is it possible/likely she's still growing? Might she make 15hh one day? :D ;)

Her sire was 15hh. Don't know about her dam.

Here she is in the spring of this year, where you can see that she's lower at the wither then at the croup:

Horses can keep growing taller until they're 6, sometimes even 8.

My 4 1/2 year old is still growing too. She's slowed up a bit but I reckon she'll grow another hand.

My friends horse (ID) grew from 15.2hh to 16.2hh from the age of 5 to 7. I HOPED that Saffy would grow but she didn't :( Saying that, I love her as she is :)
