... so, never one to miss an opportunity when the wind and rain stops - I long-lined Rosie. I haven't managed to do anything with her this week due to wind and rain and a rotten cold passed onto me by my daughter :mad: This is only attempt two but she has no problem with dropping her head as you can see. She is actually very happy to go round/along in this position with little pressure from the reins... because I was juggling the lines AND the camera they look taut in all the photos but there was very little pressure on her mouth for the whole session - in fact I had more of a problem keeping her out on the circle...

Only one minor incident when she started bucking like fury and I thought it was just high jinks following a few days enforced house arrest due to waterlogged fields.... turns out the outside line had hooked up right up under her dock so the more I pulled to slow her down, the more uncomfortable she became... :o A fellow livery equated it to an equine thong :eek: Poor Rosie! Once the offending article was prised free she settled back down and worked beautifully....
