Acronym Help

Hi

I just posted on a thread re PMU but thought I would reiterate here....

There are a lot of acronyms on the site as well as North American/Canadian practices that are not known here that have acronyms.

I think it would be really useful to have a section on the forum where crusties like myself (oh okay, am only 36 but still have problems) can go to understand acronyms.

PMU is not something I had ever heard of and it came up in a few threads. it was explained to me a few months ago and recently there have been more questions (I reckon a lot read the thread but didn't want to admit they didn't know what PMU foals were).

OH also came up as a question.

What are your thoughts, Moderators, on a 'HELP' section (or is there already one? if so, it's not too visible)

:cool: hey i'm 22 and still have trouble lol! i definately think we shouldall be made more aware of such things as PMU as it is actually quite sad that various foals are orphaned for our benefits but there are a lot of bad things out there too and people do need hormone replacement therapy i guess.

If you look at the stickies at the top of the cafe area, there is a thread called "Abbreviations used on NR" - think this is what you are looking for:D
