After 20 years of being petrified, I've managed to attempt some little jumps with my horse this year. I actually quite enjoyed it although I'm sure my position is awful! I've never been taught to jump and wondered if anyone knows of any training dvds that I could watch over the winter? I've been reading lots of books and am planning on having lots of lessons in the New Year. Can anyone help?

Ah I've seen them and did wonder if they'd be any good for the rider or were just aimed at training the horse? I'm a massive fan of Tim too :D Thanks for your help.

Just a quick update as I haven't been able to get online over Christmas. Somehow I got a massive confidence boost on Christmas Eve and Bailey and I managed to jump a 2" 1' upright!! :D Can't believe we did it. I think my face may have been screwed up with concentration but Bailey was a star and just sailed over the jump. I'm off to find those Tim Stockdale dvds in the sales now.
