View Full Version : Praise to the seat-bone saver

Today I got a chance to try out my new seat-bone saver in my weekly lessons. As I showed it off to everyone they were mostly intrigued but skeptical, saying that it would probably slip around on the saddle, and they called me a wuss! Now the riding school saddles aren't very comfortable and I've suffered from very sore seat-bones and pelvic area since I started riding last year, and my third riding holiday in Wales is booked for the end of this month.
I have to say "thank you Heather!". I've put off buying one for so long because of the cost but now I agree it's worth it for a comfortable ride. My instructor didn't know I was using it until I unsaddled after the lesson and she also called me a wuss. However in the lesson she did comment on how my seat was more secure, especially in the canter. I think it would be much better in sitting trot as well.
So I don't care if people call me names and accuse me of being delicate. I don't have a fat bum like they seem to do. I'm just happy that I can ride without hurting.
So "Thank you Heather!".

HI Niri,

Glad to have helped! They are the losers- I am no believer in 'no pain, no gain' so let 'em suffer!!!
