I can ask my friend in Portugal about him - she is in Germany for Christmas at the moment. Is there any particular reason you are interested in him? I am not long back from Portugal and had the honour of riding the Portuguese Champion Working Equitation stallion, Opalino.
The Luso is a fabulous breed with more scope than the PRE IMHO, and I own a PRE mare! I am saving for a Luso of my own...

my RI has bought one of his projeny... he is gorgeous. We are trying to ind out as much info as possible. Her horse's mother's side is easier trace (Weltmeyer, Weltmeyer II). So he's a lusitano x hanouvarian basically. We're just waiting for him to fill out.

Ripado's breeder/owner is listed on the PSL database of breeders, I can PM you his details if that would be helpful?
Sounds like this horse your RI has should be rather special - I am a big convert to the Luso breed, did not think they could be so different from the PRE - but they are.
