How to trace breeding info.

The horse I am looking at is registered on a breed register. I have the number, but how do I access the breeding registers.

You have to find the address of the Breed Society for that particular breed. The BHS might be able to help, or look on the web.

After you register the horse under your name you can go to their web site and pull of the files dependint on the registry, you'll probably have to pay for them but they should give you a basic copy.
