So Exciting!

I had custom boots ordered about 5 weeks ago, and they were out for delivery on the 24th because DHL was working to catch up from the backlog from our big winter storm last week. I was in the shower when the DHL person came and my boots required a signature so I did not get them on the 24th. I was so sad I cried.

But they are out for delivery again today and I left my signature on the card that the DHL person left the first time. So I am crossing my fingers that in a mere few hours I will go home for lunch and my boots will be there!

They are wonderful! I am looking forward to tonight so I can rub them up good with leather softener. And the next time I ride is.... who knows with the winter weather setting in :(

But next time in like 20 more years that I need new custom made boots... I want to go to a place nearby so the boot makers can take the measurements themselves.

My boots fit good but are a little big in the ankles. No worries I am a very happy camper :)

OOh I know how you feel. My brother bought me some chaps for christmas and they came at the beginning of December so Ive had to look at these lovely chaps for a whole month! I got to wear them today though - great stuff!! (One of the girls on the yard commented on them which was even better!!)
