Driving - where do I start?

Hi, everyone. I have always wanted to get into driving (and with my arthritis I am conscious of the fact that I am already having to restrict the riding I can do) and now have a suitable pony (Frayne - wide and chunky Exmoor mare, the most bombproof pony I have ever met). I have done a small amount of driving in the past (donkeys and heavy horses!), but that was years ago and always under close supervision. Where do I start? Any websites to look at, suggestions for instructors (we are in South West Wales)? Thanks, Ali xx

Have a look on the British Driving Soc. website, there is a list of affiliated clubs on there you could join in with. Folk are generally happy to take a keen student along for the drive out and are happy for you to pick thier brains.
