This is a really good book which has loads of money saving ideas and tips for looking after your horse and riding etc. I found it really useful when I had horses.
Here's a couple just to give you a hint of what's inside:

5
If you keep losing your hoofpick in your horse's bedding, plait up a piece of brightly coloured baler-twine and tie it to the handle. (I can't tell you how often that helped me find it when I lost it!)

8
To make a cheap feed scoop cut diagonally across an empy plastic squash bottle.

49
If your horse keeps kicking his water bucket over in his stable, put it in the centre of an old car tyre.

This book was really good so I recommend you buy it, whether you're skint or not!

great tips! ;) I use the twine one, and the car tyre! I hook my hoof pick up inside the stable so it's to hand when i bring peanuts in. :D and no.. he can't reach it. lol

Sounds like it has some good tips and stuff! Although I don't have my own horse it seems like it provides some useful tips to make our horsey lives less complicated!
