okay i was wondering whether it is acceptable to wear this colour breeches in affiliated competitions?http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/images/assets/gd-asset_6413172.jpg
i wouldnot know what colour to call them? is it taupe? :confused: :) :confused:

I would check the rule book for the affiliated discipline you are thinking of.It will tell you in there what is acceptable.I know that riding club showjumping competition rules wouldn't allow them but not sure about other levels or disciplines.

Taupe, Mushroom, Chocolate, Brown, Toffee, it'd all depend what brand you were looking at, they all seem to call exactly the same colour a different name. :p I'd go for Taupe though.
Those aren't suitable for showjumping (although you'd possibly get away with them at local level), dressage, or showing. Doubt you could wear them for XC, don't know about rules for le trec/jump cross, and they don't look comfy enough for endurance. So sorry, but I think the answer is probably no.

I've seen people compete in dark colours, jumping Fox +
