EEk -gulp- Jumping friend's horse on saturday at a team competition

I'm not usually one for nerves but..

On Saturday I'm jumping my friend's sister's 16.3hh coloured (and a BIG 16.3hh he's wide) at a school team competing, 2 foot 9 and 3 foot. Second time ever riding the horse, first time jumping that height since April and it's a team competition, and first time jumping for the school.

good luck with your jumping.I think you may need to get some practise in if you haven't jumped that height since last April. Not sure what height horse you are used to jumping but I definitely find it easier on the bigger horses provided the horse doesn't struggle with the distances between fences.Let us know how you get on:)

:D I'm not scaredy nervous..sort of..I can't explain it, just butterflies really. Might be too late to enter though, hopefully it'll be okay. I'll try and get some pictures/video.

Ah edit. I've jumped my own horse that height and bigger at home but I havn't competed her that big yet because hse's only gone show jumping twice and she's only 6 so still building up (see my other thread) but I can't go practise on him anyway because by the time I'd get to my friend's place after school its dark plus they dont have a school so only jumping on grass which is a bit too wet now.
