Hi! You all seem pretty clued up about this jumping lark (which is more than i can say for myself!) Therefore i ask this question in hope that i can get some opinions!
This year i intend to take my pony to a few small local shows to do some jumping (something i've never braved before!)
However, I'm 25 and he's a 13.2 pony.
So how do i know which classes i can or should go in? From looking through some old show schedules, i've noticed there are junior or senior classes. Junior is usually 16 yrs and under. Whereas senior is 14.2 or over horse!
Where can i go?!!

It depends what shows you go to. I think alot of shows has changed that now - most provide classes for horses heights rather than age. But a few cater for all heights and dont split the classes.

It TOTALLY depends where you go, what club it is etc.
Some of the clubs i go to just say 2'6 class or something, no age limit, no height limit.
You are best finding a place, ringing them up and see what they sasy, and you can always say i have a 13.2 and i'm 25 years old....what can i eneter :D
Most will be happy to help you out.

Our RC shows are just height classes, and juniors and seniors are judged separately.

Others have juniors/seniors, or ponies/horses, so you could either enter seniors on your pony, or the pony classes.

Most local shows won't have silly restrictions that won't allow you to jump as an adult on a pony, so just make sure you read the schedule and go and have fun!
